Interior neoprene cuffs with adjustable hook-and-loop closures and Double Front storm flaps with inside and outside snap closures help keep the wet out. Elbows are reinforced for longer wear. A three-piece detachable contoured hood features an adjustable drawcord. You also find two large hand pockets and a chest pocket all with flaps and hook-and-loop closures to protect from the rain. Designed to take on unforgiving rain, wind and snow, our Heavyweight Parka is warm and versatile. With a 6-ounce polyfill-lined body and 4-ounce polyfill-lined sleeves, this fully seam-sealed parka offers substantial protection on its own, yet it can also be zipped over our Down Jacket (J776, sold separately) for increased weather protection. Either way, practical details like the molded adjustable tab cuffs and open hem with drawcord and toggles ensure the warmth stays right where you need it. Plus, the soft, quilted body helps things stay nice and quiet.
